A LETTER TO YOU

Thank you for your continuous support.

It’s been my privilege to serve the families of the 2nd District in the Delaware House of Representative since 2010, and I’m pleased to welcome your household to the 2nd District following the recent re-drawing of our legislative districts after the cens known as redistricting.

If we haven’t met, please let me introduce myself. I’m a retired teacher, foster parent, and former Wilmington City Councilwoman. I am a lifelong resident of Wilmington, and I
have dedicated my life to serving my neighbors. My experience matters, and I am able to collaborate effectively with our city leadership to solve everyday problems like road repairs, drainage issues, and community clean-ups.

As state representative, I’ve focused my time in office on protecting seniors, improving the quality of education for our children, and championing the needs of the residents of the City of Wilmington. I’ve brought critical funding from the state to our community to fund childcare centers, parks and open space, and the new Bancroft school.

I am proud of my voting record. I have worked to protect and expand voting rights in Delaware. I created the INSPIRE scholarship for Delaware high school students to attend Delaware State University tuition-free. I voted to raise Delaware’s minimum wage to $15 per hour and provide a relief rebate to all Delawareans of $300 to help with the cost of gas and groceries this year.

These are successes we can be proud of, but the work to make Delaware a fairer, more equitable place where all of our families can thrive is never done. I want to hear from you about the issues affecting you and your livelihood, from economic justice to streets and sidewalks.

Visit my website at www.stephanietbolden.com or call me at 302-559-9510.
I ask for your support on Tuesday, September 13th in the Democratic primary election.
